Fetal imitation 2011 ©Jelrik Nylund-van Berkel |
This week the theme was Uncle Travelling Matt, delivered by Line. He was the uncle of Gobo in the Freggles. He went around and examined the human world. Line challenged us to find a character and let him do a little traveling while documenting.
It is with pleasure that I introduce you to Wall-E, a Disney character that my son has in his room and normally is an MP3 player. Wall-E is by nature very curious and like to explore the environment, imitating people and collecting weird things. He looks a little strange with its big eyes at what people do and try as best he can. Today was Wall-E for a walk in the park in Oslo, and looked at all the beautiful statues. He saw that people were around and imitated the postitions of
statues and then took a picture. So he climbed up to this baby in the fetus stage and tried to imitate it. I had to rush me, he did a lot of weird movements since his motor oil poured down in the head while he was upside down.
After a while we went further and Wall-E had good contact with another statue who crawled to him to play:

Wall-E was quite tired of it all and had to lie down for a rest

Actually, Wall-E got
more and more confused by everything so
he had to scratch his head:

Together with Wall-E, I drove to Holmenkollen and he was really hoping for a jump on the ski tower:
